Grænafl works to transition smaller vessels to clean energy by converting them to run entirely on electricity or using hybrid solutions. The aim is to significantly reduce oil consumption and lower the carbon footprint of maritime transport. The company is also working to install charging stations for boats in harbours, supporting the energy transition in the fishing industry.
The project’s managing director and founder is Kolbeinn Óttarsson Proppé.
